Just so everyone knows: Today is Jason Klice’s Birthday. Any other events that happened on this day are null and void to me, due to the fact that during the events of that day 2,819 Americans died. Since then our war efforts have cost us 4,439 exuberant american lives; wounded 32,033 young men and women, 20% with grievous injuries to the brain and/or spine and 9,830 Iraqi soldiers and police officers. Due to the disgusting miscalculation of hatred and war. I choose not to feed it by acknowledging anything but Jason Klice’s birthday. Happy Birthday, Jay.

Sometimes When I Take a Breath

Sometimes when I take a deep breath I think about all the work others have put forth to help me survive until that point. There are times when I wonder if their effort was worth it. There are other times when I promise myself not to let them down.

Well, I was born in West Philadelphia. On the playground is where I spent most of my days. Chillin out, maxin, relaxing all cool, and all shooting some b-ball outside of school. When a couple of guys who were up to no good started making trouble in my neighborhood. I got in one lil fight and my mom got scared
and said “You’re moving with your auntie and uncle in Bel-Air”
